Trees
Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realize that we can’t eat money.

so I think Everyone should know the First Three lines
It is the situation when the last tree or river or fish is dead.
the term you can’t eat money seems like as if it’s refering the nessesaries.
Money is for needs
people destroy things for money. It may somepart use for there nessesaries though majority will be used as the needs.
This is saying we shall harm things for nessesaries not for accesaries\

Wow. Very meaningful. The trees, the rivers, the animals… all such great and natural beauty. When all of it is gone, maybe we will finally realize that that little green piece of paper, whatever you want to call it, doesn’t make the world go round.

I think some people know that not enough will be able to go around but some people do. But when the prices start to rise thhen people will start to realize that we are going need to stop wasting lots of items and start saving them.

So true. People worry too much about materiaitems that they forget everything else. Money is just a piece of paper when it comes down to it, so why do we worship paper? Lots of things to think about.

but.. money would still hold material wealth to us if it was shells we were using. People are greedy by nature, they wont be satisfied at times.. I tried to give a homeless man 5$ in New Orleans, he said to himself “thats it?” And yet, another man was thankfull for the sandwhich my mom didn’t eat. So it depends, people are not all greedy, but some are.
